This route is suitable for a soft offroad ride of about an hour in the fields around Bucharest. If it rained a lot in the previous days, the segment from the forest near Brănești will be difficult, so I recommend you to go accompanied to avoid the risk getting stuck in the mud.
The route outside the asphalt starts between Brănești village and Pasărea village. We will enter Pădurii Street, a pretty good macadam road. This road leads to a farm and just before this we will have to turn left on the road that goes near the farm fence and enters the forest. We will keep the road ahead through the forest, then as soon as we pass a deforested area on the left, we will turn right. The roads are muddy and sometimes muddy. The problem is that when it’s muddy and you have to go on the wheel tracks, there are parts where there are trees grown very close to the road and you have to tilt the motorcycle to pass. With a heavy motorcycle it will be difficult.
We will exit the forest in the village of Pitesca and then we will go out on the asphalt road. As soon as we leave the village, the asphalt road goes ahead and we will keep it straight on the dirt road. After a few kilometers in a straight line, we turned right on the bank of an irrigation canal. We will reach the forest we just crossed and as soon as we pass it we will turn on the road that goes to the left. After a few hundred meters we turn left again and reach a lake. We cross the lake on the dam and then turn left again and we will ride along the lake for a few kilometers.
After crossing the lake, we will reach again an irrigation canal where we will turn right and we will keep the road that goes along the canal. We will reach a bridge that crosses the canal to the left, we pass it and immediately cross the next bridge then we continue on the road along the same canal. At the first intersection we turn left and after about 2 km we reach the village of Hagieni. Here if you want you can go to see the Marghiloman mansion built on the shores of Lake Hagiești.
