A route with everything and very fun. At least we had fun. Let’s take it one by one. First, to go offroad you will have to climb the Prislop pass which is a superb winding road, with very good asphalt. You can see a video of the Prislop pass on our Youtube channel. Then right at the top of the pass, opposite the monastery you will have to go north past the monument that marks the highest point of the pass. Once you get out on the macadam, keep to the right, then after about a kilometer keep straight ahead.

There follows a short section of climb that is a bit steeper with a few tight curves and areas with bumps and lots of rocks. We have reached the most beautiful area of the route. The whole route is beautiful but here we are on the mountain tops, the road winds smoothly between the peaks and we can admire the landscapes in all directions.

After about 6km we will reach a sheepfold and a cabin where we will reach a T-junction. Here we will turn right and the descent begins. It is a rather difficult descent because the slope is steep in places and there are many boulders. We will reach an intersection where we keep the road to the right, that is, the one that goes down. From here we enter the TET Romania route. 2 more hairpins and we reach the valley along the Ursul River where the fun part begins: the next 10km are many places where very large and sometimes deep puddles form that occupy the entire road. Most have stone on the bottom and you will not have adhesion problems but there are a few with mud so be careful.

The portion with puddles ends when we reach an area with a few houses. Here we turn left on the bridge, cross the Țibău River then turn left again. A gentle portion follows. The road is relatively horizontal, without large slopes, alternating forested sections with open areas and traffic is almost non-existent. After about 10km we will intersect with the communal road 86A. Here we turn left towards the village of Bobeica. If you want to continue on the TET Romania you will have to keep the road straight ahead. Immediately after passing the village, we will intersect with the Suceava River and soon we will come out on the asphalt on the county road 175 that connects Pojorâta to Izvoarele Sucevei near the customs with Ukraine.

We really like this route because you have the opportunity to practice almost all types of road: there are more technical sections with boulders, steep slopes, areas with clouds and a lot of water, fast areas and all this in the superb landscape of Bucovina.
