Day 1:

A perfect route for spring or autumn because is still warm enough and the landscape is spectacular.

From Pitești we take the road to Râmnicu Vâlcea known as Dealu Negru (Black Hill). After a stop for “mici” at Dedulesti, in Blidari we take DN73C towards Curtea de Argeș. On this piece of road we will have some beautiful curves and even some hairpins.

At Curtea de Argeș you can visit the monastery and the well of Manole craftsman then we will ride on a section of road full of hills, curves and beautiful landscapes. Too bad the asphalt is pretty bad and we can’t fully enjoy this road segment.

At Câmpulung you can make a small detour to the Mausoleum of Mateiaș to admire from the top of the hill the next part of the route. From here we take the DN72A to Târgoviște, then after Voinești we will enter a county road that will take us to Pucioasa. Here there is a segment of about 5 km that is unpaved.

Day 2:

The route for day 2 is full of roads perfect for motorcycles: first the road between Pucioasa and Valea Lungă which is full of tight curves, about 3 hairpins and very steep slopes. The asphalt is pretty good. Then from Valea Lungă, a spectacular new segment: the road to Provita de Sus. Follow the road from Comarnic to Valea Doftanei. On the shore of Lake Paltinu you can stop for a picnic but if it’s a weekend it will probably be very crowded.

The road between Brebu and Aluniș is again quite steep and quite free of traffic. A new stop can be made at the Slanic salt mine. From here we descend to Văleni de Munte and take DJ 102B to Siriului Valley. After a few kilometers on DN10, before Măgura we turned right towards Haleș. We will enter a very spectacular part of the road for motorcyclists because it is full of tight corners and even hairpin. These spectacular segment ends at Sarata Monteoru then we descend again into the plain and take the road to Mizil.

From Mizil the road is relatively straight at the foothill of the Subcarpathians all the way to Pitești.
