Cape Doloșman can be reached on asphalt on county road 229P coming from Jurilovca. Cape Doloșman is a promontory on the shores of Razelm and Golovita lakes and ends with a steep calcareous cliff that in some places exceeds 70m height above the water level.
Coming from Jurilovca, the asphalt ends less than 1 km from the end of the peninsula. From here you can ride to the end where you will find a small beach or you can take it to the left on the road that goes up to the plateau. Here you can take a break on the edge of the cliff to admire the 2 lakes and if you catch a clear day you can even see the sea.
From the edge of the cliff we will take the path that goes up a hill towards the West.
You will have to be careful, about 2 Km after we left the cliff, you will have to turn onto a road that descends steeply to the right. We will go down to the shore of the lake and continue on the bank until we pass a guesthouse. Here we turn left and in a few hundred meters we will get to the paved road DJ222 – Jurilovca – Enisala.
We cross the road, climb a little and then we will follow the bank of an irrigation canal for several kilometers. We will reach the edge of Sălcioara village and unfortunately we will have to cross a section where the locals still throw garbage, so be careful what you step on.
There is an interesting section coming up, we will go up a hill and then the road almost disappears. From here we took it straight through the grass to the sheep farm that can be seen 500 m ahead. Go around the fold a bit if you don’t want to have any problems with the dogs. Once we pass the farm, the road reappears and we will ride again on the embankment bordering an irrigation canal.
We get off the pier near a farm and take the road that leads to the forest. You have to be careful here because we are in the vicinity of a military base and a tank training ground. Sometimes the area is closed for maneuvers.
At the entrance to the military base we will turn left and reach the edge of the forest. From here the road follows the edge of the forest for a while, then we will cross the forest and come out onto the asphalt in the village of Visterna.
This route can be done without problems when the ground is dry, but if it rains, it will probably become impassable.
