This road was first built in the 20's but just as a dirt road and it reached the Babele area on top of Bucegi Mountains. In 2010, works began for the rehabilitation of this road.

S04 Transrarău

Transrarău road, also named the “Road of Treasures”, crosses the Rarău mountains and connects the villages Chiril (on the southern side) and Pojorata (on the northern side).

S03 Transsemenic

Transsemenic was finalized in 2014 and it's in a very good state. In some areas there are already small cracks in the asphalt but I hope the administrators of the road will repair them soon. Sadly or fortunately, this is the road is very little known so the traffic...

S02 Transalpina

Probably, Transalpina is the best motorcycle road in Romania. The landscape is not so spectacular as the Transfagarasan, but has all the ingredients: 130km and all types of curves, from very wide and dust turns to very steep and tight hairpins. And it's the highest paved road from Romania!

Transfăgărășan road is the second highest road in Romania (2042m ) and you can find it on the first places in all the best roads tops in the world.
